All my attempts at reconciliation have been rebuffed. I haven't seen my granddaughter in over 4 years. And these people sit in church every Sunday and the County Club for lunch afterward. What lesson could God be teaching me. I have already worked on pride--b/c he was such a brilliant student and I worked hard to make sure he attended the best schools. And I was full of pride of all his accomplishments. God will see me through but it is hard. I never thought it could happen to our family. I dread this day more than any other after being rejected by by son b/c his wife doesn’t like me.
